Students from private colleges in the capital have turned recreational parks into study places ahead of examinations.

Adults and young children have resorted to Harare Gardens and Africa Unit Square, as facilities they had been using before the Covid-19 pandemic are now unavailable.

“We have not been going to our institution since the commencement of national lockdown and the CBD is our central point for our group studies,” said one of the students.

“Our principal has been sending assignments online and most of our lectures are being done on line.

“We meet in parks for group discussions and at times police accept our explanations while on some days we are chased away.”
