ZIM dancehall chanter Jay C hailed promoter Boss Gaga for remembering artistes during this Covid-19 lockdown.
Boss Gaga has been saluted for continuing to stretch his helping hands to upcoming chanters.

He recently donated groceries to artistes who are based in Dzivaresekwa and Kuwadzana respectively.
In an interview, Jay C – real name Joel Chitate – hailed Boss Gaga for his caring heart.
The Boss Gaga Foundation has donated cooking oil and groceries to rising chanters.
“He even gave people who were at the shopping Centre money, akabatsira vanhu vanenge vakaomerwa.
“It will sustain them for some days where they will be thinking about the next move because things are hard for us all.
“I really appreciate his effort and I am told he has visited several ghettos doing the same thing,” he said.
In another interview, Boss Gaga’s events manager, Emanuel Mwamadi said they are touring all high density suburbs where they will donate groceries.
“We have covered Chitungwiza, Glenview, Budiririo, Kuwadzana and Dzivaresekwa among others.
“Our wish is to promote unity among these musicians despite the fact that there is lockdown.
“We want these artists to get basic commodities.
“Coronavirus will come to pass and we will continue working these artists.
“We gave them cooking oil, mealie meal and other basic commodities,” he said.
Similar sentiments were echoed by Boss Gaga.
“I owe the success to God vanondigonesa kuita zvese izvi.
“My heart bleeds for these entertainers especially those who are still working for their names.
“Covid-19 has affected everyone and these upcoming artistes are not spared.
“I will continue to assist as much as I can, it does not mean I am very rich but I am just sharing the little I have with my fellow brothers and sisters who are into music,” he said.
Meanwhile, Jay C is putting final touches on a new album due for release on his birthday.
“I am working on my new album which will hit the market on my birthday (September).
“I started working on this album last year and a lot happened but not I am not putting final touches.
“I decided not to talk about it until I have something tangible.
“I will just launch the album despite the Covid-19 scare,” said Jay C.
