“Jah Prayzah and King 98 are good buddies and they have been working together on some projects and they always exchange notes.

“So this invitation is a bit special to us because we will be connecting with the fans,” he said.

“Hard work is one of the things that we have learnt so far and we hope to put that into practice as well.

“We have also learnt that there is need to reach out to the international market by working with some of the continent’s finest artistes.

“To date, we have worked with Davido, Zlatan, Nasty C and we are also courting other international stars.

“By doing these collaborations, we are trying our best to make an international breakthrough.”

With most artistes grounded on lockdown, DJ Simmz said King 98 has been busy in the studio and travelling a lot doing his charity work.

“We might be on lockdown but we are doing our best in the studio and I can assure our fans that there is work progress.

“As we speak right now, we have since recorded a number of singles that we hope to release soon.

“We have also been working on visuals and we hope all the plans will go according to plan,” he said.

DJ Simmz said he was also impressed by the strides King 98 has made in reaching out to the local fans.

“We are gradually wining hearts of many people, especially Zim Hip Hop fans and very soon we are likely to hold an online gig if all go according plan.

“However, we are also learning from the best we have in Zimbabwe like Jah Prayzah,” he added.

Meanwhile, DJ Simmz said the King 98’s seven-day long promotion dubbed “Francesca Album Promotion” coined after his debut album named after his mother, which ends today has gone according to plans.
