AWARD-WINNING recording stable – DKT Family – has suspended the riddim launch dubbed Office Hombe which was scheduled for March 25.

The riddim, which features more than 50 chanters, will now be released without a launch due to the Coronavirus scare.

Some of the chanters on this album include Soul Jah Love, Hwinza, Flex Tattle, Silent Killer, Ndunge Yut, Spiderman, T Makwikwi and Kinnah among others.

In an interview, DKT said they are following President’s orders to suspend all the public gatherings to avoid the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.

“We have cancelled it due to the immediate orders from the President.

“Even though we are no longer launching it, the mix tape riddim will hit the market on March 25.

“The medley video will be out on March 26.

“We are still organising a date which is 70 days to 90 days away to give our fans their free entertainment,” he said.

He added:

“The studio was being promoted 80 percent and on the other hand Boss Gaga promoted the event.

“All the songs will be ready by April 1 and we will stay focused more on production of music as well as videos.

“It’s a loss to us as artistes but it’s a good thing for our fans because it will be good to have healthy people at the show.”

DKT family was also going to dedicate the show as an opportunity to celebrate fourth anniversary.

“We wanted to celebrate our fourth year in the music industry with our loyal fans.

“We will do it next time,” he said.
