I’ll bounce back: Temwanjira

2018 Soccer Star of the Year finalist David Temwanjira has vowed to rediscover form after signing for Dynamos ahead of the 2020 Premiership season.

Temwanjira, who was the second top goal scorer with 15 goals in 2018, is set to revive his career with the Harare giants after singing on a three-year deal.

He was far from convincing after unsuccessful stints with ZPC Kariba and TelOne which saw him scoring once.

“I have joined Dynamos. Everything is finalised, we have finalised everything,” Temwanjira told H-Metro hours before signing the deal on Saturday.

The marksman has promised to do well under Tonderai Ndiraya, who appears to assembling a team that will fight for honours.

Temwanjira hit top form in 2018 at Shabanie which saw him moving at the half of the season.

“I’m ready for Dynamos and I will join the club on Monday (today) for the new chapter. I expect to do well and return to top form again,” said Temwanjira.

Temwanjira is set to lead the front line following the departure of Edward Sadomba who retired from football while Tawanda Macheke is training with Black Rhinos for a possible move.

DeMbare continue to strengthen their squad after coach Tonderai Ndiraya went blunt last season that the players at the club are below their standards.

They have so far acquired the services of highly rated former Herentals midfielder Juan Mutudza and defenders Partson Jaure and Byron Madzokere.

The Glamour Boys have also signed goalkeeper Tymon Mvula from Hwange as well as Tanaka Chidhobha, Lennox Mutsetse and Nkosi Mhlanga.

The Harare giants are also linked with a reunion of former striker Christian Ntouba Epoupa and Keith Murera from Ngezi Platinum.

In the process, they are reported to have offloaded Stephen Chimusoro, Godfrey Mukambi, Edgar Mungu and Munashe Kaseke.
