“Kawondera has joined FC Platinum. Their offer was the best, he could not resist it.

“He had many offers to choose from, both locally and outside offers too. He was spoilt for choice.

“He has ended his lengthy stay with Triangle,” said our source.

All things being equal, Kawopndera will be unveiled on January 12, a day after their return match against Al Ahly of Egypt.

“Kawondera will go to Zvishavane before the Al Ahly game but will start training after that game.

“He is not eligible to play in the Caf Champions League; he will only participate when they progress to the quarter finals.

“He is ineligible because he played CAF Confederation Cup when he was still with Triangle,” added the source.
