Controversial comedienne and musician, Mai Titi real name Felistas Murata says she suspended her wedding plans after realizing her undisclosed foreign lover was not interested in taking her two children on board.
Speaking to 263Chat, Mai Titi said her children are her first priority whom she cannot be separated from.
“When I realized that he wanted me to leave my kids and go with him to England for three to four years after we wed, I suggested halting our wedding plans and told him to start preparing papers for my kids too if he really wants Mai Titi.
“I love my kids and would not let anything separate me from them, I cannot trust them in the hands of someone else,” she said.
She maintained that they are still in good books and that wedding plans will continue once papers have been processed.

“Yes! We are in good books. When I told him, he just promised to work on it and so I am just waiting for him to do so. It is not like I am desperate to be married or anything, whatever time it takes I am ok with it. I would rather stay single with my kids than be with someone away from my children,” said Mai Titi.
She has since released a tribute song for the late Oliver Mtukudzi called, “Ndichauya Ndokutora.”
